An Epic Adventure

Well, the first race of 2011 is in the books!

We started the season with Rev3’s 26-hour Epic Adventure Race, and an epic adventure it was.

We had a lot of rain, a little bit of a hail, and our fair share of thunder and lightning.

There was 25 miles on foot, 68 miles on bike, and 15 miles in a heated school bus.

There were 2500 calories worth of PB&J and pita chips and far too many bars and gummy electrolytes.

After 15 hours and 37 minutes of racing, we crossed the finish line in fourth place, with piles of soggy clothes and pounds of caked-on mud to show for it.
