Wow, you bounced back to an easy 10-miler? I guess I shouldn’t feel too bad about continuing my marathon training while sick. I think it’s a choice we need to make carefully, but I think most of the time is not a bad one!
Yikes!!! I would definitely say you are overdue! 😉
Holy cow, you definitely need new shoes!!! I’m glad you’re feeling better 🙂
eeek…14 months!!! go get some new shoes!!! i’ve always been good about tracking miles but since the injury i’m even more cautious. i retire them shortly after 300 miles.
I promise, I’m generally pretty good about it, too! I’ve just always thought of these shoes as secondary to trail shoes, so I haven’t paid great attention to their wear and tear. Have a date with Bryn Mawr Running Company tomorrow.
Um YES I think you need some new shoes! And PLEASE go get fitted for some shoes.
I can’t even imagine getting running shoes at DSW. It’s definetely one are I’m a big snob although I tend to always go with the cheaper, lighter racing flats.
buy new shoes asap! also, send me all your girl scout cookies:)
You need new shoes no doubt. But I completely do that sale rack thing with shoes. I will pony up the money for my trail shoes but regular road running training shoes, they cheaper I can find them the better!
Glad that 10 miler sweated out your “bug.” Stay healthy!
