Strike a Pose

When Brent was younger, he and his best friend liked to pose for pictures with statues.  I have no idea how they developed this tradition, but if you go through his photo albums from his teenage years, you’ll find shots of him or Alston mugging around in Boston, London, Guatemala, Egypt, and Kenya.

He and Alston don’t spend as much time together as they used to, so I’ve become the (sometimes reluctant) subject of those photo shoots…

I’m not sure how I feel about this new role in life…

I think it’s a great tradition. One day you can make your poor children carry it on for you. They’ll love it when they are little and hate you for it when they are teens.

Hey! I hope you do participate in the bake sale!!

I think if everyone ships fairly soon after baking (or freezes and then ships) in a airtight container (cheap tupperware?) than it should work pretty well.

I’ve sent cookies across the country and they’ve been fresh and delicious upon arrival.

Oh, the things we do for love 🙂 LMBO!! It’s a lot more fun than using a sock puppet to pose for the picture. I never knew people did that until I saw it on people’s blogs!!

so… is it that you both have to pose? or is there another reason why he doesn’t want to be the one in front of the camera?

Robert E. Lee and you is my fav!
