2010: A Year in Food

After six long years of grad school, I finally became Dr. Esq.

Breaking bread atop an Ecuadorian volcano…

After twenty years of veggie-dom, I attempted life as an omnivore.  It didn’t take.

52 hours into a race, nothing tastes better than Trader Joe’s artichoke hearts…

Testing out new pre-run traditions…

What did your 2010 taste like?

I hope to be writing the same post a year from now! =)

My year tasted like… olives. I hated them, and now I ask for them.

What a cute post!!! Seriously, your life is so cool. I kind of just live through you and all the cool places you have gone. This year has tasted awesome….probably a little too sweet:) Artichoke hearts after a 52 hour race…wow!

Not after the race – during 🙂 It was a 72-hour adventure race up in New England this past summer. After two and a half days of straight bars and gummies and snacky foods, you’d be amazed at how good artichokes taste.

Great post! Interesting year of a very interesting person. My 2010 tasted good. Not sure like what exactly but it tasted good.

As of recent meals my 2010 has tasted like losts of rice and beans, coconut milk, bananas and mangos. Otherwise, 2010 mostly tasted like Gu, Gatorade and Nuun.

To achieve one of those in a year is incredible, but to achieve all is outstanding!!!! Congratulations, girl – I’m truly in awe!! Even if you’re consuming artichoke hearts – ewww! Haha. My 2010 tasted pretty much like sour milk!! 😦
